Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

My artist of the week is `Whimsical-Dreams and you just have to go and have a look at her gallery. I command you! Her work is absolutely beautiful and you really can tell that she has a love for art. Rambles

Okay so! Toy Story 3 was amazing! I didn't see it in 3D but I didn't really want to be to honest. It was so hard not to cry at the ending. Waaa. Lol. The A-Team was also good! I was alittle shocked to tell the truth because I kinda expected it to be alittle poo but no! Was pretty cool.
So lately I have been pretty busy. I have more hours at work now that Mitch (assistant manager) has left. Sad that hes gone really but the staff night out to see him off was fun! God, I must have danced for like 3 hours straight and Jagerbombs may I add, are pretty fooking awesome. Haha. ~chrisbin liked all his presents! Yay! He really liked the card I made him too! Even though he was alittle uncomfortable about it his mum and dad threw him a garden party for his birthday and I got to see more of his family which was nice.
Plus now he is happy he had that party because he got quite a bit of dosh from his guests. (; We went to his cousin's house the week after for his cousin's birthday and he and his wife, Louise have such a lovely little house! I want a house now! Lol. My body is in a lot of pain after spending ages moving my room around! Lol. It looks so much better now though. If you are ever looking for a new exercise workout. Just move around your bedroom furniture!! XD I can't wait to get paid. New HD TV and a new desk and shelves from IKEA. Mmmm, IKEA. <3 I have become addicted to the website.
Last sunday me, ~chrisbin and his dad went to a VW car show and it was really good, I enjoyed it more than I expected. Lol. I really want a car now and I want a VW! I managed to get some photographs so I will upload them here when I get a chance. Oh! I am looking for an iPhone or an HTC with a £15 or £20 a month contract so if anyone sees any deals please let me know. I know its possible but I can't find any online.
